Why was my document flagged or requested again?
Common reasons a document gets sent back, and what to do about it.
Occasionally a document you've uploaded needs to be replaced — usually for one of a few straightforward reasons: the image is too blurry or cropped to read clearly, the document has expired (passports and IDs need reasonable remaining validity), or the authority needs a different format, like a colour scan instead of a black-and-white photo.
If this happens, you'll see a note in your application's activity log and a notification explaining what's needed. There's no penalty for re-uploading — just replace the document from your application's detail page the same way you added it originally.
