What documents you need to upload
Only one document is strictly required to submit your application — here's what else may be requested later.
At application time, you're asked for two documents: a passport copy, which is required to submit, and a national or Emirates ID, which is optional and can be added later.
Once your application is under review, the authority processing your licence may request additional documents specific to your activity or nationality — things like a No Objection Certificate, degree certificates for certain professional activities, or bank reference letters. If anything extra is needed, your application status moves to "Documents Required" and you'll get a notification explaining exactly what's missing.
Accepted file types are standard image and PDF formats, and there's no need to notarise or attest anything before uploading — our team lets you know if a specific document needs formal attestation once they've reviewed what you've submitted.
