What you'll need before you start your application
A quick checklist so you're not hunting for documents halfway through the form.
The application form takes most founders about 10–15 minutes if you have everything ready. Before you start, have on hand:
Personal details Your full name, email address, phone number, and nationality.
Company details Your preferred business activity, and three company name choices in order of preference (the authority may reject your first choice, so having backups avoids a delay).
Documents A clear digital copy or photo of your passport is required to submit. A national ID or Emirates ID is optional at this stage and can be added later if you don't have it to hand.
Payment method Decide upfront whether you'll pay by card or bank transfer — card payments are confirmed instantly, while bank transfers need you to upload proof afterward from your dashboard.
You can always come back and finish later — nothing is submitted until you reach the final confirmation step.
